Update - New Club Award
As we said last issue, the club will be handing out a new award this year to be awarded at the year end dinner. Last month, we included the form so you may keep track of your attendance at official and recommended club events towards winning the "Driven to the Max" award. We have borrowed the system used by Motor City car club with some modifications to suit our requirements. Don't worry about keeping track of the points you obtain, just fill out the sheet from last issue and we will tally it at the end of the year. Below and next page is the points breakdown.
Event Points: Given based on number of days you attend any automotive event. If you attend one of our recommended or official club events, you receive an extra 2 points. Recommended events are ones that are Ford oriented, truck oriented, or supporting club members.
1 day = 4 points
2 day = 5 points
3 day = 6 points
4 day = 7 points
Distance Points: Given based on distance to event for driven vehicles. Points for trailered vehicle is half that of driven vehicle.
0-50 km = 1 point
51-150 km = 2 points
151-300 km = 3 points
301+ = 4 points
Awards points: 1 point given for each award won at any car show.
Cruise night points: Given for up to 2 cruise nights a week based on mileage.
0-50 km = 1/2 point
51-150 km = 1 point
151-300 km = 2 points
301+ = 3 points
